New CFO Joins Portsmouth Regional Hospital [9/26/08]

Welcome to David McClung, CFO

Portsmouth Regional Hospital is pleased to welcome David McClung as the new Chief Financial Officer.  Mr. McClung comes to the hospital from CJW Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia, where he served as CFO for over three years.  He has held several other positions within HCA, serving as CFO in areas as geographically diverse as Denver, CO; Hoffman Estates, IL; Derry, NH; Haverill, MA; and Hurricane, WV.  He has worked outside of HCA in Worcester, MA; and Cherry Hill, NJ.

Mr. McClung holds a BS in Health Planning Administration from Pennsylvania State University.  He is also a graduate of the HCA/Controller/CFO Development Program and the HCA Management Program.  Professionally, he belongs to the American College of Healthcare Executives and the HealthCare Financial Management Program.
